Beauty: Dermapen Treatment @ Biolite clinic

Lately I've been addicted to facials and anything that makes my skin look better, I haven't been wearing foundation for over a month and that's amazing for me because it bugs me to cover up certain imperfections or blemishes in my face especially in the morning when I have no time for anything, now my skin is clear and I have facials and a healthy diet to thank for that!

My recent favorite facial or facial treatment is one I got this week at my favorite Dubai clinic which you all know, Biolite Clinic, home to infinite beauty treatments. They're latest treatment is called "Dermapen" which I can describe only in one word: AMAZING!

The thought of what this Dermapen does intrigued me, and since I'm not so afraid to try new things I went for it. The Dermapen is basically a pen that has around 8 needles in it that penetrate a very shallow layer in your skin in order to rejuvenate it and renew the cells. Just like the popular Derma Roller, but the difference is the Dermapen is vertically penetrating the skin while the Roller is circular/horizontal therefore injuring your skin instead of helping it! Also, the Dermaroller is painful while the Dermapen you can barely feel a thing!

I thought it would hurt but it didn't at all, the feeling was just like getting a soft facial scrub.

First, my face was cleansed then Amla cream was applied for 10 minutes to numb the skin. Then, Hyaluronic Acid serum was applied and the Dermapen started doing it's job, which is basically penetrating the skin and taking inside the Hyaluronic Acid inside to rejuvenate the skin and make it tighter. The treatment took around 40 minutes in total and when I was done my skin felt so tight! Today I looked at my face and thought my skin never looked better I swear! Looks so healthy and has a lovely glow. I definitely recommend this treatment for all of you ladies who want your skin to look brand new!
