When I was in Abu Dhabi around 2 weeks ago we were invited to the Italian restaurant in Emirates Palace called Mezzaluna. It's not the best Italian restaurant I've been to honestly but the food was pretty good. First, let me tell you about the delicious bread basket they bring in the beginning. My friend Mona and I couldn't stop eating the different types of bread in that basket with EVOO, so yummy! Then the mozzarella with basil and tomato came, that was everyone's favorite part I think because all the plates went back empty.
The pasta with lobster and asparagus was also delicious but lets talk about the main dishes: The lamb chops with crispy covering and mashed potato was to die for! Seriously if you are a meat lover this is the dish for you. The salmon according to my friend was not so amazing. Finally, the dessert: Tiramisu. I think that was the worst Tiramisu I've had in my life. It came with a side of frozen coffee and also coffee jello. I don't recommend it.
